For by grace you are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God – Eph 2:8

The above passage of the Bible says we are saved by grace through faith. God’s word further confirms that faith without work is dead. So it’s an action that gives life to faith.

In other words, grace has made all that pertains to life and godliness available and accessible to us, but we need faith to access and take it up.

Grace and work are never at variance neither can one replace the other.

Grace is the foundation but can only be expressed via works.

Grace is the core, work is a plus.

The more you work, the more the opportunity you are creating for grace to flow.

Grace is as water that will flow only to the extent of piping.

Our works are the ‘pipes’ that define the extent, volume and limit of the flow of grace.

Grace is static, it is work that gives it motion.

Grace is potential, it is work that turns it kinetic.

Grace is ‘caged’, it is work that let it loose.

You don’t know what grace can do, how far it can go and how high it can fly until you start to work.

We don’t lack grace, we only fail to give it chance for expression.

Here is the

We are saved by grace and not of works, but we need to apply faith in order to access and enjoy what grace has made available.

May the Holy Spirit give us understanding and the faith to access all that our Lord Jesus Christ has purchased for us with His precious blood in Jesus Christ’s name!
